Sabattis is located in the heart of the Adirondack Forest Preserve in Long Lake, New York. The camp consists of 1,250 acres with a 150 acre lake surrounded by wilderness. The camp was purchased by the Boy Scouts in the late 1950's and has served the camping needs of youth ever since. Sabattis is the Council's high adventure camping experience. We are five and half hours from New Jersey and fifty miles from Lake Placid.
At Sabattis Adventure Camp you will have the opportunity to challenge yourself on the C.O.P.E. Course, climb our climbing tower, climb our very own Charlies Mountain, try out our Buckskin Games (tomahawk & knife throwing), sail out on our Trimaran, sleep under the stars on top of Charlies Mountain, bike our many miles of bike trails, shoot Archery in the woods, and much more!
